Byron Holland, President and CEO of the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) since 2008, is a leader in Internet governance with extensive C-level experience in private and nonprofit sectors. Under his leadership, CIRA transformed into a multi-product, globally recognized organization managing over 3.4 million domains and providing DNS services to 30% of the world’s TLDs. Internationally, he represents CIRA in policy, holding key roles at ICANN, TorIX, and the Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries, shaping Internet governance and supporting global infrastructure initiatives.
